This piece demonstrates well the change in brightness
caused by the change in grain angle as well as in light
angle. Within the individual panels the brightness is
visibly different, corresponding to the relative grain
angle, but though the design flows from one panel to the
next there is a panel-to-panel brightness division caused
by the differing angle(s) from the light source.
