This panel features Carpathian Elm Burl. Radially
bookmatched burl panels are rarely seen because of the
difficulty involved. This panel uses twenty pieces of burl,
and in the center twenty points touch each other. It has
perhaps 16 coats of polyurethane varnish (I didn't
count...) rubbed out to a full gloss finish. This
particular example shows a much prized and rare green color
within the burl. It received my gold signature.
